EYELASH EXTENSION PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Eyelash Extension: Standard Occupational Classification SOC 39-5012.00 
Classification of Instructional Program (CIP 12.0401)
The program offers a basic 50 hour program in the study of Eyelash Extension. The program is designed to prepare and educate students in the fundamentals of Eyelash Extension. Students focus on application of Eyelash Extension during the lab work hours. Classes will include placement, application, cleaning, disinfection, and client aftercare. All training is based on the student’s hands-on experience This program has been designed for a beginner, entry level eyelash extension.

*Graduates are prepared for entry level eyelash extension stylist.

The course is taught in English. Textbooks and course materials are only offered in the English Language.

**This program is not eligible for Title IV funding.

EYELASH EXTENSION PROGRAM OVERVIEW AND OUTLINE

Program Hours: 50 clock hours

Eyelash Extension Curriculum: During this 50 hour program, students will learn the fundamentals of Eyelash Extensions . The program will include anatomy of the eye, lash growth cycle, common eye irritations and infections, cleaning, disinfection, sterilization as well as the proper isolation, placement and application. The student will also learn about the law and rules, marketing and business, client aftercare, occupational safety and health in eyelash extension. The program will be taught through practical hands-on and classroom experience. Students must have a passing grade of 75% in all areas.

Student Workshop - Students will use models and perform a consultation, eyelash isolation and separation, classic eyelash placement, along with volume fills and fan making.

Paul Mitchell The School North Haven offers employment assistance to help graduates’ efforts to secure education-related employment that includes, but is not limited to training in professionalism, resume’ development, job interview preparation and job search skills.

EYELASH EXTENSION PROGRAM TESTING AND GRADING PROCEDURE

The following tests and grading procedures are incorporated during the student’s 50-hour program:

  1. Academic theory exams: Students must receive a grade of 75% or higher on each assigned theory exam.
  2. Practical  Exam: Students must receive a grade of 75% or higher.

**This program is not eligible for Title IV funding.
