The curriculum involves 135 hours. The program includes instruction and practical experience in refreshing students practical skills.
This course if taught in English.
**This program is not eligible for Title IV funding.
COSMETOLOGY REFRESHER PROGRAM (135 HOURS) OVERVIEW
Program Hours: 135 clock hours
This program is designed to assist students who have allowed their license to lapse due to non-renewal. The program is divided into two designations:
Classroom Instruction - These hours are theory and final phase, including weekly test.
Clinic Classroom & Classroom Learning Experience - These hours are practical application in the clinic classroom.
COSMETOLOGY REFRESHER PROGRAM (135 HOURS) OUTLINE
Your time at Paul Mitchell The School North Haven for the Cosmetology 135 Hour Refresher Program program will be divided into two designations:
- Theoretical Classroom Instruction: A combination of Milady Textbook and Final Phase, our State Board Preparatory Class, including weekly test.
- Clinic Classroom (Practical) Learning Experience: Your time in the clinic classroom will allow you practical application of the information learned in the Milady Textbook and Final Phase classes, to further your understanding and comprehension .

COSMETOLOGY REFRESHER PROGRAM (135 HOURS) TESTING AND GRADING PROCEDURE
The following testing and grading procedures are incorporated into the Cosmetology Refresher Program (135 hours):
- Students must receive a grade of 75% or higher on assigned theory exams.
- Students must receive 100% or higher on each practical worksheet completion.
- Students must receive 75% or higher on all final exams.
